INVESTORS' reaction to the prospect of a hung parliament is as diverse as their voting patterns.

This means we are in for some shaky moments on the market.

Much has been made recently of the amount of fees being ripped out of the superannuation system by the finance sector. GRAINCORP might appear to be best placed in its bid for rival grain marketer AWB.

It had negotiated a 10 per cent premium and an $8.6 million break fee. But, too often, corporate marriages fail to have a happy ending for either set of shareholders.
