ASA members are advised that an informal affiliation has been established with the Association of Independent Retirees Ltd. A.I.R. is a research and advocacy organisation for fully or in part self funded retirees (SFR).
ASA members can participate in the broader issues of economic, taxation and social issues that impact upon SFR or those about to retire. General information on all aspects of retirement is available. Special interest groups within A.I.R. address the needs of specific areas of common interest such as Taxation, Aged Care, Self Managed Superannuation, Baby Boomers etc.
A.I.R. has over 70 branches throughout Australia as well as an unattached members-at-large register.
