INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS

The Australian Shareholders’ Association (ASA) recognizes the importance of engagement with Australian industry and its support for small shareholders and investors. We have incorporated this element into our strategic vision as we see a mutual benefit. Through this, ASA intends to provide shareholders appropriate representation and knowledge based services, while corporate Australia will benefit from engagement with a united and informed shareholder constituency.

As an initial step, we have created a simple industry subscription at differing levels depending on your budget and willingness to assist in supporting small shareholder needs.  Industry subscriptions demonstrate value-added support and engagement between shareholders and the corporate, business and financial community.

We recognise already that ASA’s membership and support includes ASX listed corporations, accounting and law practices, fund managers and financial planners, and numerous other professional advisory firms.  ASA appreciates this support, however, we encourage and seek further engagement and support from those organisations who have not sought to be involved thus far.

The ASA welcomes Industry Subscribers to promote their activities to our membership and small investors through a Marketing Package.  We would be pleased to negotiate an appropriate arrangement which would be aimed at promoting your products and services.  ASA intends that through such marketing initiatives, Industry Subscribers will provide valuable alternative sources of information, research and product marketing to the benefit of our members, small investors and the broader community.

Our strategic objectives of providing value added representation, education, training, information and advice to members and small shareholders require the sponsorship and support of industry partners. Financial literacy and investment knowledge is a core principle to shareholder wealth and security. To this end, we have created sponsorship categories which recognize the importance of each additional and significant contribution by an Industry Subscriber.  Sponsorships are sought to support ASA’s initiatives to expand to provide small shareholders and investors the tools to achieve greater knowledge and understanding about the companies in which they invest, the alternative investment products and the various economic and business issues before them.

MARKETING AND SPONSORSHIP WITH THE ASA

MARKETING PACKAGES

ASA encourages Industry Subscribers to promote themselves and their products and services, which are relevant and would be of benefit to small shareholder wealth creation and information.  We are pleased to introduce quarterly or annual marketing packages incorporating the following inclusions:
• Negotiated advertising exposure in ASA’s EQUITY magazine
• Company logo recognition
• Links to your organization’s website or landing page on the ASA website and monthly e-newsletter
• Contribution by your organisation of technical articles and commentary, and promotions for inclusion in EQUITY magazine and other targeted campaigns
• Social media communication opportunities through ASA’s Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
• Communication to members through targeted e-mail campaigns, including surveys of members conducted by ASA on behalf of your organization

We seek to encourage Industry Subscribers to engage and communicate with members and small shareholders through ASA.  We seek to spotlight your organization in presenting education seminars and information briefings on topical issues which are relevant to your organization and small shareholders.  We encourage ASX listed corporations to present company updates directed to members and small shareholders, as is similarly practiced for industry analysts and institutional investors.  We also see key information delivery to small shareholders through technical information sessions by taxation, legal, accounting or financial advisory practices.

ASA would host education and information briefings for members and non-members, recognizing the logo and contribution of your organization.  Media packages relating to every ASA education seminar and website link would publicize and incorporate your company’s valued contribution to engaging with small shareholders.

SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES

ASA supports small shareholder engagement, financial literacy and their information requirements.  We seek to greatly improve our services to members and non-members.  We recognize that this segment of the investment community lacks appropriate support for representation, continuous education, training and provision of easily understood information and advisory resources.

ASA’s strategic objective is to fill this gap by providing a “one stop shop” resource for small shareholders.  In achieving this objective, we seek vital sponsorship to develop appropriate and necessary resources which are to be readily accessible by small shareholders. ASA’s membership does not have sufficient financial resources to fund exclusively this requirement, such that support from the financial and business community is critical.

ASA has established sponsorship categories recognizing the valuable contributions towards the resources aimed at improving investors’ financial literacy, education, training and information requirements.  In return, ASA will provide the desired level of sponsorship recognition in its EQUITY magazine, including advertising opportunities and links to your website, and also appropriate exposure in all ASA online and print communications.

ASA seeks sponsors in the following sponsorship categories:
