Harvey Norman EGM cancelled PDF Print E-mail
Harvey Norman today cancelled an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.  The EGM was called a month ago for the purpose of shareholders approving new grants of options to executive directors.  The move to call the meeting to approve options with lower performance hurdles than current options, met criticism from investors.  The ASA, which has previously voted in support of the company’s remuneration report, indicated that the earnings per share hurdles proposed were too soft and that it could not support the resolution.
