Presenter Nathan Bell from Intelligent Investor will guide you through his current investment strategy to help you take advantage of volatile markets and protect your portfolio from a slowing global economy, before highlighting some potential value traps and current opportunities for long term investors.

Nathan is currently the Research Director of Intelligent Investor.  He holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Investment and Management from the Securities Institute of Australia (now Finsia) and, having completed the rigorous demands of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program, he is also a CFA charter holder. Nathan spent nine years working as an accountant, mostly in Sydney and London, before joining Intelligent Investor in 2006. He is currently the company's Research Director and as a regular financial commentator in the media you can read his weekly columns on the Business Day website and in the Sydney Morning Herald.

This meeting is held meet every third Wednesday of each month (except for November and December)  Coffee and discussion will follow the presentation. Members please bring your member card.
