With FOFA reforms coming in to effect, Listed Investment Companies (LIC’s) are receiving increased media attention as financial advisors look for alternate ways to access managed portfolios of assets. As a sector, LIC’s have produced better returns than the broader equity market and generally pay solid dividend yields. As a manager of two Listed Investment Companies, Mr Rees will:

- run through the features of LICs that make them a viable component of any diversified portfolio;

- discuss some specific LICs and how they may be used; and

- look at some of the underlying share investments his company’s have made and is considering.
