ASA 50th Anniversary Lunch

2010 is a very special year for Australian Shareholders' Association. We are celebrating 50 years as an association representing the interests of retail shareholders.

To commemorate this event, Ted Rofe, former Chair of ASA along with Stuart Wilson, CEO of ASA and Michael Perry, Deputy Chair of ASA will be attending our commemorative lunch on Friday, 27th August 2010. An address will be made by our special guest, Ted Rofe.

Ted Rofe was Director of the Australian Shareholders Association from 1976 - 2003, Chairman from 1981 - 1987; 1994 - 2003. He practiced as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW from 1965 to 1997 and was a lecturer in Financial Accounting at The University of NSW from 1974 to 1998.  Appointed as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia in 2002 "For service to the finance industry and the protection of the rights and interests of investors, particularly through the Australian Shareholders' Association and advisory bodies."

This will be a rare opportunity for us to meet our former Chair and enjoy a relaxed social afternoon. We hope that you will be able to join us to celebrate this memorable occasion.
